Privacy policy

Trinket Box is developed by Hyperfixation Studio, a Cascade Lab project. The app works offline and requires no account.

Data the app handles

Trinket Box lets you take or select photographs and add titles and descriptions. This content stays in the app's private storage on your device. Trinket Box does not transmit this content to Hyperfixation Studio or Cascade Lab, or sell it to anyone.

The app reads the device operating-system version locally to avoid unsupported background-removal features. This information is not transmitted or retained by Hyperfixation Studio or Cascade Lab.

Camera and photo library

Camera and photo-library access are used only when you choose to photograph or import a trinket. You control which photos are provided.

Background removal

On supported Android devices, background removal uses Google ML Kit on the device. Google Play services may download the required machine-learning model. Trinket Box does not upload your image for processing. On supported Apple devices, processing uses Apple Vision on the device.

External links

The app can open external websites, including Worldwide Sidewalk Joy, in your browser. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Data deletion

Because collection data stays locally and there is no account, you can delete it by clearing Trinket Box storage in system settings or uninstalling the app.

Children

Trinket Box is not specifically directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosure will be updated before release.
